To be the regional number one healthcare provider to deliver trusted and quality centre-based elderly care solution which is affordable to elderly and allow them to age gracefully.
Elderly care is a challenging task for most of us, especially when lack of time, skilled people, or nursing experience to handle our elderly. Moreover, the decision to move our elderly to stay in the center will be hard and the process can be frustrating.
We, a group of caring doctors, lovely nurses, kind dietitian, dedicated physiotherapists, and helpful caregivers, understand the pains of family in elderly care. Therefore, we intent to provide trustable & quality elderly care solutions which allow families to be hassle-free and having peace of mind every day !!
When I was a general practitioner, I noticed there are a lot of patients coming into my clinic asking for help of bed-bounded family members. When I do house call, I often find patients in a very bad condition despite being discharged from hospital for a mere 1 week. The main reason was that the family members do not know how to take care of the bed-bound patient appropriately. Secondly, sadly there are no trusted caregivers or medical personnel they can get help from and thirdly, they were too tired to take care on their own and neglected giving the proper care needed for the patient’s recovery. Therefore, this has inspired me to set up ZenVilla centre to help patients alike and their family members to solve their pain and problems.
After earning my Diploma in Nursing from Assunta Nursing School, I started working in a multidisciplinary ward. Since then, I explore my passion in taking care of geriatric patients. Driven by this passion, I was aiming to open my own nursing home. I further studied Bachelor (Hons) of Nursing in SEGI College to learn mostly on management, aiming to get ready to open a nursing home. I was lucky enough to meet Dr Chong and get to know a team of people with same passion. That is how I joined ZenVilla, aiming to provide better care for elderlies in Malaysia.”
